MSNBC’s Chris Mathews interviews Joe Scarborough on his new book and what it means to be a conservative. The “discussion” is worth watching, indeed it is a discussion we should be having everywhere in America. Scarborough finally raises the question I and others have been asking forever, Why don’t we demand Constitutional consistency from our leaders and from OURSELVES?! We can’t enlarge government through social issues such marriage laws, abortion banning, and then complain when that same government abuses the power you have helped create. As Scarborough said, “why do we have to nationalize everything” He accuses both parties of being guilty of this and he is right!
Ironically we also witness here just what is wrong in our Political dialogue today, just watch Mathews completely miss the point. Nonetheless, you need to watch this. The government needs a major overhaul, some are waking up to that news and some are still asleep turning everything into an election debate. We even hear Scarborough talk about the 10th amendment!
