America needs to get bombed?!?

So, recently I am witnessing this anomaly wherein a sizable wave of Americans seem to be gravitating toward the words of Glenn Beck and falling under this spell he cast where he portrays himself as one who supports American Liberty, truth and Constitutional legitimacy.  Hmmm.

The other night he has on guest Michael Scheuer who blatantly and unapologetically states that “only Osama (Bin Laden) can execute an attack which will force Americans to demand that their government protect them effectively, consistently, and with as much violence as necessary.”

WHAT???

Wait a minute.  Right now, we have people getting arrested for having bumper stickers with the Gatston Flag, and being interrogated by police if they talk too much about Ron Paul.  Folks like us, who talk about supporting the Constitution are considered threats somehow, but it’s okay for this guy to go on national TV and suggest that Osama Bin Laden should attack America?

Let me get this straight… people who discuss and support efforts to uphold the Constitution and oppose any legislative act that denies the Constitution are considered “domestic terrorists” - but one can go on TV and suggest that a man who is currently seen as the worlds most powerful terrorist should attack the country and he’s perfectly okay?  Have we gone completely mad?

The statement makes me want to bang my head against a wall.  It is disturbing on so many levels that it’s actually obscene!

First of all… Osama Bin Laden?  Really? Really?  Do we really still think that is what actually happened on 9/11?   Are we all actually still under that spell?

Secondly, and most importantly, the statement boldly suggests that Americans need to be scared into submission…. that we need to be terrorized so that we openly ask for the governments protection.   What this means my friends, is that if we are terrified enough, we will voluntarily give up every last remaining shred of Liberty we have for some false sense of security.

Scheuer is saying that the Obama Administration is failing to offer adequate protection for America.  Uh-huh… so we should be brutally attacked by this boogie-man terrorist so that we all demand protection?   That is like saying a woman should be assaulted in a parking lot so that her fear teaches her to demand that a security guard accompany her.

That’s the formula folks don’t  you see?   Create the preceived problem then provide the only preceived solution.   Make the attack, and then provide the protection.

What Scheurer is doing is just blatantly admitting this formula to all of us - only he is using the name Bin Laden because so many Americans still shudder at the sound of his name, thus planting that very first seed of fear.

ARE WE ALL CRAZY?

In the rest of the interview the two talking heads discuss the dangerous direction in which this nation is headed.  Well, they’ve got that part right!  Of course I’m not convinced that folks like these two are not tools by which to make it happen!

They seem to be suggesting we all pay attention and take action. Yes my friends, we certainly must pay attention… but lets do that for real!  It’s time to smarten up folks.  Lets not get so hysterically confused by our media that we leave ourselves open and vulnerable to this suggested attack on America whereby we will surely all become enslaved by what will then become a truly tyrannical regime.
