The vent of an activist.

I see the YouTube clips on people’s pages, I read the quotes, I see the Fan pages and groups forming left and right and I have to ask myself, “What do people want?” I see nothing but “yes men”, Nothing but people on their soap boxes who seem to only wanna hear themselves or their own echo… I see people get thrown off pages for “disagreeing”. Everyone I know keeps re-posting the same clips day in and day out and I ask… “What do people want?” Are you trying to educate? Are you trying to lead? Are you trying to persuade? Are you trying to unite? Are you trying to simply win? What is your goal?

Seems to me we have a lot of bright minds desperately aware of the pending doom, the very real collapse of our Republic… of all that is left. But then… something falls short and after all the chatter in the world, the pegs continue to keep the machine working.

I don’t pretend to have the answers, what I do have is questions. Questions we should all ask ourselves, “What do we want? What do we hope to accomplish? Do we have a strategy to meet this goal? What exactly is our goal?” Perhaps we should *ask* ourselves that question before we can dare assume the same from others.

“Fighting” a corrupt destructive system that is rooted so deep in our psyche, our wallets, our life, our very spirit! requires more than the clicks of scattered rats.

Perhaps I am feeling tired at the moment.  Perhaps I am disenchanted by the limited thinking in our approach as a people who claim to be awake… who claim to see the matrix for what it is.  I want more.  I want more of you, more of us activists and more of myself.   But before I continue to swing, I need to know what are we aiming for.   The threat to our Liberty is real, it is alive and it keeps evolving everyday. Meanwhile, we think our biggest threat is Universal Healthcare?   We throw a tantrum of overzealous paranoia because of a President’s speech to kids?  Some accuse others of falling for cult-personalities, while they themselves follow lying apostles of Freedom.  Some of us still think Pres.Obama is the problem and all we need is a wonderful and very productive *election*.   It makes me wonder, when we have just had the past eight years that we have had brought to us by a conservative President with a Republican congress… and we see where the next eight years… with a Democrat President and a Democrat congress is taking us… can we honestly believe that our political system is anything but rigged?   An illusion of the cruelest kind.

And so, while the government of governments has the bullseye on their threat, on US! I have to ask, do WE have a target at all?
